Music Ministry

Ministry Aim/Objective:

To establish a music ministry that is sound in the Word of God and skilled in their talents. A ministry that is able to flow in the move of God under his mighty anointing, leading souls into praise through song. A ministry not having an individual focus but focusing on Jesus Christ and the building of His kingdom.

Habakkak 2:3 –“For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but in the end it shall speak and not lie. Though it tarry, wait for it because it will surely com, it will not tarry.”

The music ministry has in place a “Music Cabinet”, which consists of the President and Vice-President of each choir along with one layperson. These seven individuals handle the business of the choir form engagements to concerts to enforcing the rules and regulations of the choir.

3 Adult choirs are:

• Stephanie D. Brisco Singers for Christ – 1st Sundays

• Mass Choir - 2nd Sundays

• Gwendolyn Blackshear Wyche Chorale – 3rd Sundays

• Male Choir – 4th Sundays

2 Youth Choirs:

• Sunbeam Choir – ages 3-12 – 4th Sundays

• Chosen Generation Youth Choir – ages 13-20 – 4th Sundays
